Three-phase combined overvoltage protector (three-phase combined surge arrester) is a protective appliance used to protect the insulation of power equipment from overvoltage hazards. It is a new type of surge arrester. , and effectively limit the phase-to-phase overvoltage , which is impossible for ordinary arresters. The three-phase combined overvoltage protector is divided into a gapless type and a series gapped type. The difference in use is: for a gapless voltage protector, as long as there is an overvoltage on the system, it can be well absorbed and suppressed. With a gap type overvoltage protector, the gap type overvoltage protector will only act when the energy of the overvoltage on the system reaches the breakdown through the series gap type in the voltage protector and is used to discharge. Therefore, it is recommended that users choose a gap-free voltage protector under normal circumstances, and a gap-type overvoltage protector is appropriate for places where the system disturbance voltage is too large or the switch is frequently opened and closed.
